Bright Graphic Office Mural

By channeling her inner artist, some FrogTape and a handful of colorful paint samples Charlotte, from At Charlotte's House, brought a dull office wall to life cultivating creativity and uniqueness in her space.

Supplies Needed

  • Planning out the space

    Plan Out Your Space

    Determine the measurements of each square and which colors go where.

  • Taping off the wall

    Tape off the Lines With Painter's Tape.

    With the help of a laser level use FrogTape® Multi-Surface Painting Tape to tape off every other horizontal stripe. Then, tape off every other vertical stripe.

  • Painting off the squares

    Paint the First Taped Off Squares.

    With smaller brushes, paint the taped off squares. Some colors will require a second coat of paint for solid coverage. Once painted, let the paint dry.

  • Color squares after peeling off the tape

    Peel off the Tape

    Pro Tip: For best results, pull off at a 45 degree angle.

  • Repeat Steps 3 and 4

    Repeat Steps 3 and 4

    Continue taping off the remaining squares and use FrogTape® Delicate Surface Painter's Tape for newly painted surfaces.

    Add Patterns to the Squates

    Using FrogTape® Delicate Surface Painter's Tape, tape off some designs to make the space you own. Examples include diagonal tape lines, stripes, semi-circles, circles, grids, triangles, etc.
