I love to DIY, be creative about repurposing things, designing & decorating my spaces and getting crafty. I love sharing our budget friendly DIY projects and tutorials. Lucky me – we have an entire farmhouse full of projects that will take us a lifetime to complete. I’m drawn to cottage style…the cozy vacation feel appeals to me and seems fitting for our big old farmhouse but mostly I just do what I love with a mix of styles. “To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did.’” Join me while I turn this farmhouse into our dream home and a blog into a career.
I also love blogging, meeting new creative blog buddies, sharing awesome before & afters and our passion for DIY home improvement and decorating. I’m addicted and active in the blog community and love encouraging and supporting blog friends. I hope you find some inspiration for your next do it yourself project. Dream.Create.Inspire.Share!

I'm Rhoda, from Atlanta, GA and I love decorating and DIY projects. Decorating a home doesn't have to cost a fortune and I've spent years thrifting at antiques markets and yardsales, finding those treasures that make a home unique. I'm here to inspire and encourage other women to find their own inner creativity. Won't you join me?
KariAnne writes the lifestyle blog, Thistlewood Farm from the back porch of her turn-of-the-century farmhouse in the beautiful rolling hills of Kentucky. Thistlewood Farm was awarded Country Living Decorating blog of the year as well as named one of the top 10 decorating blogs by Better Homes and Gardens. KariAnne loves to paint mismatched chairs, listen to the crickets singing in the back pasture, walk hand-in-hand with her knight-in-shining armor as the sun sets over the river and drink sweet tea with lime during a thunderstorm. And she has never met a decorating project she didn't like.
